Viel Spass beim Lesen! xoxo Georgia
What would fashion be without the perfect hair look. Hairstyle is just as important as the most beautiful peace of clothing for us women. 1. Women and hair! How do you handle this dilemma?
To me it’s not a dilemma! I choose a haircut that is suitable for their face shape and their lifestyle. It’s a blank canvas and I am the artist. When you look at everything as art, you don’t stress about it. Hair is art, life is art.
2. How do you get an idea for a new product?
We have a great team at John Paul Mitchell Systems, they make magic happen. Our research and development team is constantly testing new products. As a company, we try to stay ahead of the trends so our Artistic Directors are continually searching for new ideas that would best help the consumers. We take our inspiration from our clients, they know first hand what works and what doesn’t with their hair. The Artistic Directors, myself included, work hand in hand with the research and development team and are intricately involved in the testing and decision making process.
3. Do you like fashion blogs? Do you collaborate with fashion bloggers?
This is a new world that I’ve just started exploring. Fashion bloggers are a great marketing tool to reach the younger generations and it’s a very cool thing. We have our own vlogger (video blogger) in house, Tally Rossi, and her show is called “Tally Takes On”, Tally teaches how to’s and gives information on the latest techniques, tools, and products…it’s really great.
4. What are your plans for your brand in 2015?
My lips are sealed! All I can say is we have exciting things in store for 2015 but I’m not allowed to spill the beans, sorry.
5. Do you have any advice for someone that is starting his own business now?
Be prepared to work really hard. Try to use as many resources as you can to develop and grow your business. Things will go wrong and some days you’ll want to give up but DO NOT give up. Stay true to your beliefs and trust your vision.
